Engineer's power play: the carbon combat

Clean Energy for All Europeans is an EU legislative program based on the Paris Agreement and the Kyoto Protocol to the UN Convention on Climate Change. The program brings various measures aimed at the climate change combat. It sets new energy targets, enables all Europeans to generate their own electricity and does push on the Member States to shift their energy needs towards greener technologies.

Stabilization of the environment and meeting the EU goals will require completely new approach towards the electricity generation and the power engineering sector as such. Energy efficiency, broad implementation of renewable energy sources, nuclear energy and rapid research and development in energy storage will be a must.

Therefore, the educational and research priority of the European technical universities should be a creation of a suitable environment for young engineers with revolutionary ideas. The Engineer's power play is here. Join the Light side in the carbon combat!
